What does the psychology club do?
Fundraising Events
These fundraising events not only make money for our club to fund later projects and events, but our executive board has plans to also expand this to our community! We would like the UNCP Psychology Club to be well-known and helpful throughout the surrounding communities! So far, being the new club that we are, we have completed a bake sale, but we have plenty of other events in progress!
Member Activities
Our executive board wanted to designate times during the semester that would be a fun, stress free time for our members! These would be free activities that any member is allowed to attend and enjoy! So far, we have had a Member Movie Night a guest speaker, each with refreshments! Any guest speaker that we invite will be psychology-related, as to further the psychological knowledge of our members!
Campus Events
We want to make sure that our members remain a part of UNCP student life as well as a club member! We also want to spread the word about or club, so we make it a point to incorporate campus events into our club calendar! Our largest campus event thus far is UNCP's Student Involvement Fair! Members, as well as executive board members, collaborate to decorate and run a table at the involvement fair each semester, giving everyone a chance to mingle and hopefully add some new members!
